Download
Download the plugin zip from your WP Smart Bot setup, or with the button above. It is a direct zip download.
Install
- Open your WordPress admin.
- Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
- Choose
chat-assistant.zip. - Click Install Now, then Activate.
Connect
- In your dashboard, open Settings → Connection.
- Copy the connection string.
- In WordPress, open Settings → WP Smart Bot.
- Paste the string and click Connect.
The connection string works once and expires after 7 days. You can create a new one at any time.
First settings
Name, logo, colours, welcome text, behaviour and team availability are set in the dashboard. The first content sync starts by itself after you connect.
Upgrade
Upload the new zip from Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. When WordPress asks, choose Replace current with uploaded. Your connection is kept.
Troubleshooting
- If the connection fails, create a new connection string and paste it again.
- If products are missing, save a product or use Sync now.
- If the chat is hidden, check the hide-on-mobile and hidden-page settings.
- If a newer version exists, the plugin settings page shows a notice.
